Aisha Aremu has had a very good month in class and has shown great improvement in her academics and attitude towards learning. She pays attention during lessons, takes corrections seriously, and tries her best in all she does. She is not the type to joke around with her schoolwork, and her effort is clearly evident in how she participates and completes her tasks in class.
She is also gentle, respectful, and easy to relate to. Aisha speaks politely, behaves well in class, and gets along peacefully with other intellects. She follows instructions and hardly causes trouble during lessons. Her calm nature and good behaviour have made her someone teachers are always happy to teach.
One thing that makes Aisha special is her willingness to keep learning and improving. Even when something is difficult, she still puts in effort and does not give up easily. She has shown maturity, seriousness, and a good sense of responsibility throughout the month. For these reasons, we proudly chose her as the Intellect of the Month for JSS 1 Date for May.

Ibrahim Murdiyyah has emerged as the Intellect of May 2026 in JSS 1 Honey, thanks to her exceptional leadership qualities, dedication to duty, and seriousness towards learning.
As the class captain, Murdiyyah has demonstrated a high level of responsibility and commitment in fulfilling her duties effectively. She ensures classroom order and supports her class teacher as needed. One of her outstanding qualities is her ability to provide timely, accurate reports to the teacher when he is not in class.
She demonstrates honesty, reliability, and readiness to uphold discipline among her peers. Murdiyyah has proven herself trustworthy and dependable, earning her teacher’s respect.
Academically, she never allows complacency in her studies. She remains focused, hardworking, and determined to excel in all her subjects. Her consistency, discipline, and passion for learning have been top-notch.

I am happy to announce Yisa Maryam as the intellect of the month in JSS1 Musk for May 2026. She is respectful, gentle, caring, and always attentive during classroom lessons; these qualities make her deserving of this recognition.
Maryam is a well-behaved and responsible individual who demonstrates excellent character both in and out of the classroom. She is respectful of teachers, classmates, and school rules, making her a positive role model for others. Her kind and friendly nature allows her to relate well with everyone around her.
Academically, Maryam performs above average and shows dedication to her learning. She is attentive during lessons, actively participates in class activities, and completes her assignments diligently. Her willingness to learn and consistent effort contribute greatly to her academic success.

Today, I am delighted to recognize Oladimeji Maryam as our Intellect of the Month. She has shown admirable qualities that make her truly worthy of this special recognition.
Maryam is very polite and respectful in the way she speaks and relates with others. She carries herself with humility and good manners, both in and outside the classroom. Her calm, quiet nature makes her a wonderful role model for her classmates.

Taoheed’s academic performance has been impressive since he joined Chaste. He is dedicated and committed to his academics.
As assistant class captain, Taoheed has shown a high level of responsibility and commitment in discharging his duties effectively. He is humble and well-behaved.
He pays adequate attention to his studies in class; you can count on him to stay focused during lessons and to add meaningful points when he chooses to speak.
Taoheed is endowed with football skills, as he usually demonstrates them during the sports period. His conduct reflects discipline and good upbringing, serving as a source of inspiration to his classmates. We pray that Allah should continue to increase him in knowledge and wisdom.

Sumayah is well known for her good behavior and respectful attitude towards teachers and fellow students. This month, we are pleased to recognize Balogun Abdulhamid as our Intellect of the Month. As we recently concluded the NECO BECE examinations and gradually move towards SS1, Abdulhamid has continued to adjust well to the demands of the pre-SS1 subjects.
He is confident, energetic, and always willing to participate during lessons. Abdulhamid contributes meaningfully in class and does not hesitate to answer questions when given the opportunity. His intelligence and growing seriousness towards academics have become more noticeable in recent weeks.
One thing also worth commending is his consistency. He rarely misses school and has remained focused and well-behaved lately, which is encouraging. His positive attitude and readiness to learn show clear signs of growth and maturity. He is steadily improving, and I am proud of his progress.

It is my joy to present Aliyu Raheemat as the IoTM for May 2026.
Aliyu Raheemat has consistently distinguished herself as an outstanding Intellect for May. She is calm and well-mannered both in and outside the classroom, always giving rapt attention during lessons and diligently following instructions. Despite the merging of the JSS3 Intellect classes, she has remained steadfast in her admirable character and discipline.
Academically, she is a true product of hard work and dedication. She takes her studies seriously and is constantly engaged in productive reading, whether studying her schoolbooks or novels to broaden her knowledge. Her resilience and determination during the just-concluded BECE examination further reflected her commitment to academic excellence and her strong pursuit of success.
I pray to Allah to continue to increase her in good character, knowledge, and wisdom. Amin.

Adeshina Alamin is our Star Intellect of the Month for the month of May, 2026. This announcement comes in accord with his dedication and never-say-die approach to his academics. The young boy has been a frontliner and distinguish member of the class. He conducted himself maturely during the course of the month and I believe in him to clinch more accolades in the nearest future.
I rate him highly for his conduct and leadership disposition during the just concluded Basic Education Certificate Examination. I appreciate his infectious moral etiquette and track records of academic achievements.
Alamin's hunger for learning puts him in good records of his teachers. He gives no room for complecency and procrastination. He does his class work and homework as and when due.
His excellent work ethics during lesson hours is impressive. He also puts in unswerving interest during outdoor activities.
Moreover, he is obedient, attentive in class and desclipled. He loves to contribute positively during the on-going Pre-SS1 Class by attempting questions. He adds value and positive ambient. He brings fun to class by infusing fascinating concepts to topics tought in class.
On a final note, Alamin's selection was a complete no-brainer, and I am exhilarated to announce him as the star Intellect of the Month for May, 2026. I pray that he continues to put his foot down on this commendable path. Congratulations!!!

I am so thrilled to award Ahmad Edun as the intellect of the month for May. Ahmed Edun is an intelligent intellect who is always happy in school and ready to learn. His good academic performance, gentle nature, easygoing, and calmness in dealing with other intellects make him a brilliant intellect. He grasps concepts quickly and shows a clear understanding of lessons taught in class. Attentiveness during classroom activities is highly commendable, as he carefully follows instructions and completes tasks within the specified time frame.
Ahmad Edun actively participates in classroom discussions and activities. He contributes meaningful ideas and works well with others. Ahmad Edun's positive attitude toward learning continues to make classroom interactions with his peers productive, and he desires to do better.

Zakari Umar has truly earned the recognition as the Intellect of the Month for May in SS1 Musk, and I am delighted to celebrate his outstanding achievements.
Umar has proven himself to be an exceptional and well-rounded intellect whose dedication to excellence is highly commendable. Academically, he continues to show steady improvement through hard work, consistency, and active participation in intervention classes.
Beyond academics, Umar has also distinguished himself in extracurricular activities, particularly in sports. He was a valuable member of the football team that finished 3rd in the Boys' Day Out competition, and his efforts greatly contributed to the team's success. It is my pleasure to introduce Mubarak Ibrahim as the Intellect of the Month for May in SS 1 Olive. What stands out most this May is the steady progress he has made in both his attitude toward learning and his personal development.
Mubarak, through consistent encouragement and mentoring throughout May, actively participated, respected class rules, and related positively with both his classmates and teachers.
Mubarak's overall appearance and attitude toward school have also improved significantly. He pays attention to his uniform, punctuality, and personal grooming. In class, he is focused, asks thoughtful questions, and shows a genuine effort to understand the material rather than memorize it.
Mubarak expresses himself more clearly and confidently during lessons and presentations. His vocabulary and fluency have improved noticeably, and he is no longer afraid to speak up. I commend Mubarak for his dedication and urge him to keep building on this strong foundation.

Sadiyah consistently arrives early to class and ensures the board is prepared for the days academic activities. She rarely needs to be reminded of her responsibilities, which clearly reflects her strong sense of duty, commitment, and dedication to the course.
In addition, Sadiyah is deeply committed to excellence. Recently, she has become even more dedicated to her academics, staying focused and avoiding distractions that could interfere with her studies.
Sadiyah's generosity is also worth noting. She is a friend to all. She treats everyone with respect without hesitation or discrimination. Warm and soft spoken, Sadiyah is sure to impress you with her grace every time.

Congratulations to Ogundiran Faridah for being the Star Intellect of the month!
She is a valuable intellect not just to her class but to the school at large. She is brilliant, intelligent, bright and smart. She consistently excels academically, which has kept her at the top of the class.
Faridah's love for learning is admirable. It is no coincidence that she recently represented the school in a Maths quiz at the University of Ilorin, was the overall winner of the Zenith Bank quiz competition held at the school, and was appointed as the Blue House captain.
In addition to her academic prowess, Faridah is helpful and kind. She is always willing to create a supportive learning environment and help her struggling classmates. She is always willing to share knowledge and make the classroom a better place for every intellect.
Also, she is known for being organised, neat and orderly. She keeps her materials and notes jealously and manages her time effectively; this helps her stay on top of her studies. I am confident that with Allah's help, she will reach great heights.

It is such a delight to announce Mohammed Zainab as the star intellect of May.
Zainab is a very active member of the class, as she pays close attention during lessons, asks questions when areas need further clarification, and participates in the overall class activity.
She displays a high level of seriousness and focus in her academics; she adheres to her reading schedule during her study time. She doesn’t hold back when seeking help from her classmates or teachers to better understand topics or areas of interest.
Zainab is also the class representative for SS3 Honey, and she performs her duties diligently, always ready to assist subject and class teachers with tasks that benefit the class.
Watching Zainab strive to develop academically and as a potential member of society is an honor, and her vigor deserves recognition.
